Interior Painting, Green Friendly Paints & VOC's

VOC’s are solvents in paint that get released into the air as you use the finish. They can cause headaches, dizziness and other symptoms. Long term effects are unclear, but according to the Environmental Protection Agency some VOC’s used in paint are troublesome. The government has tried to help curb the emission of VOC’s by limiting the content per gallon to 250 grams per. Problem is with these Green Friendly paints some do not stand up as long as higher VOC paint. Please make sure when painting that plenty of fresh air is circulated through the space being coated. We normally use high velocity fans to accomplish this. Also please make sure a room is allowed to dry before
